Kanger SubTank MINI
Changing the mode from pre-built coils to the RBA head on the Kanger Subtank Mini.
One big difference between the SubTank Mini and it's bigger brother the SubTank is the ease of switching between Organic Cotton Coil (OCC) and the RBA module, it's literally as simple as changing the atomiser! RBA mode allows you to build your own coils and wick them exactly how you want, it provides a fresher and more clear taste compared to the OCC coils.
RBA mode is not for everyone and does require you to understand some basic principles such as coil building and how to wick a coil. We will cover this in later FAQ's, this will give you a good understanding of the basic principles involved, in all honesty it's pretty straight forward once you get your head around the basics and there are lots of materials available online to help you.
If you are unsure of how to change the coils on the SubTank Mini please see our seperate FAQ.
1) Remove the OCC coil. Be careful as this may have some left over eliquid on it!
2) Screw the RBA Module into the base of the SubTank Mini.
3) Re-assemble in reverse order.
Your tank should now be in RBA mode, all you need to do now is wrap your coils (please note the SubTank Mini comes with 1 coil pre-installed in the RBA section that just need wicking), install them on the deck and wick them and you're ready to vape! If you're unsure about how to build a coil, install them on the RBA deck or how to wick your coil please check out our other FAQ's about building the RBA section of the Kanger SubTank Mini.
